179 Studios open in Soho

Established in London during the summer of 2025, LALA is quickly becoming a go-to choice for producers and creatives across advertising, film, and television. With its combination of music supervision, bespoke compositing, sonic branding, sound design and music library access, LALA’s client list presently includes Warner Bros, Amazon Studios and Netflix. Recently, the company opened its own recording and mixing facility – 179 Studios – featuring Genelec 9.1.4 monitoring.

Magnum upgrades Les Salles du Carrousel sound systems

Located beneath the Musée du Louvre, Les Salles du Carrousel is one of Paris’ most distinctive event venues, combining historic architecture with modular interior space capable of hosting conferences, product launches, exhibitions and gala evenings. The three primary spaces – the Le Nôtre Suite, the Soufflot Suite and Foyer – recently underwent comprehensive technical revitalisation by Magnum.

Sennheiser Spectera WMAS system makes Tonys return

Following the debut of Sennheiser’s Spectera’s at the Tony Awards in 2025 – where Cynthia Erivo used a single bodypack to simultaneously transmit a lavalier microphone signal and receive stereo in-ear monitoring during her entrance from an upper-level dressing room, through backstage corridors and stairwells, and onto the main stage – the bidirectional wideband ecosystem was back this year for the 79th event at the Radio City Music Hall.
