intaji traineeship programme

Driving Abu Dhabi’s development as a centre of excellence for Arabic media and entertainment content, twofour54 has launched an employment and traineeship programme for UAE Nationals looking to build careers in television production and broadcast. The programme has been developed by twofour54 tadreeb, the region’s leading training academy in co-operation with its global training partners and twofour54 intaji.

Called ‘intaji’, the 12-month programme offers skills training with a salary. It has been specifically developed by twofour54 to give young Arabic talent the necessary skills to work in the media industry. ‘twofour54 is committed to developing the region’s talent pool and this is exactly what our intaji traineeship programme is designed to do,’ says COO Wayne Borg. ‘As the UAE’s and the region’s and entertainment landscape evolve, it is essential that we develop and build the talent infrastructure to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of the industry.’

intaji traineeship programmeThe course officially starts in October, with a deadline for applications of 18 September. Successful applicants will receive a combination of classroom-based courses delivered by in-house team at twofour54 intaji, twofour54’s world-class production facilities, and a number of leading international media companies including the BBC, Apple and Adobe.

‘Trainees will work with twofour54 intaji to develop practical skills in various broadcast disciplines, while earning a generous salary for the duration,’ Borg adds. ‘Trainees can look forward to an exciting job in what is a dynamic and creative industry, and one that will continue to play a big part in the region’s economic development.’

The programme will allow trainees to specialise in a range of media disciplines, including  camera operations, lighting, media management, audio, video and graphics.

On completing the programme, each trainee will receive a twofour54 certificate and those that demonstrate the skills, capabilities and passion required to succeed in this dynamic industry will be assisted in finding permanent employment within the twofour54 creative community of world class media companies.
