Glastonbury Festival RG Jones Sound Engineering returned to the Glastonbury Festival following its fallow year with Martin Audio systems across four major stages.

With an MLA system again serving the Pyramid main stage as well as West Holts and the Genosys stage of Block9, Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision Longbow (WPL) made its festival debut on the new IICON stage featuring a 6.1-channel immersive surround-sound system designed by Simon Honywill.

Matt BellamyCurrently on tour promoting their latest album Simulation Theory, Muse are performing sold out stadium gigs all over the world. Each night frontman and guitarist Matt Bellamy brings out a one-of-a-kind guitar with a remarkable history to play the song ‘The Dark Side.’

The WidowBest known for his award-winning music for Ripper Street, Marple and The Missing, Emmy-nominated composer Dominik Scherrer also scored the music for the BBC One/Netflix series Requiem, which was co-written with Natasha Khan (aka Bat for Lashes) and the four part sci-fi adaption The City and the City.

Most recently, he was commissioned to record and compose the soundtrack for the Amazon Studios US/ITV UK thriller, The Widow.

Snow PatrolReturning to the road after a seven-year break, Snow Patrol took their 2018 album Wildness on a sold-out UK arena tour with Adlib as audio provider, and Nigel Pepper mixing FOH and Jamie Hickey on monitors.

Ahead of the tour proper, Adlib had previously  supplied a small PA and control package for warm-up shows, and had also  worked with both engineers on a tour for the band Foals.

Europe’s first installed L-Acoustics L-Isa Immersive Hyperreal Sound system has been completed by Adlib at EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney), a new arts centre for live music, mixed arts, and performance located in the former Savoy cinema located in Dalson, East London.

The system saw early action when Johnny Marr performed at EartH, touring his fourth solo studio album, Call the Comet.

DC10Holding mythic status among the initiated, one of Ibiza’s venues recently marked its 28th anniversary and two decades since the introduction of its keystone event, Circoloco. Venue owners and co-founders of DC10, Andrea Pelino and Antonio Carbonaro undertook a large-scale overhaul of the audio set-up. 

The new installation encompasses three main areas of the club – including their individual DJ booths – and required a major system architecture redesign.

Śląski StadiumA complete rebuild of Poland’s most famous venue has made it one of the most modern football and sporting facilities in Europe. Opened in 1956, Śląski Stadium (Silesian Stadium) in Chorzów was a symbol of Poland’s post-war rebirth, and has hosted some of football’s most important and memorable matches, as well as concerts by U2, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and The Rolling Stones.

In 1993 the stadium became the official home of the Polish national football team.

The Lava CentreA high-tech exhibition exploring volcanic activity and tracing the creation of Iceland over millions of years, has opened in Hvolsvöllur. The Lava Centre was inspired by flights being cancelled when Eyjafjallajökull erupted in April 2010.

The Lava Centre is a fully immersive show, located where five of the Iceland’s most iconic volcanoes to be seen. The design, preparation, integration and finalisation of all A/V equipment for the nine main show items took almost a year.
