Newly appointed as a premier UK stockist for RCF’s Media Professional line of installation loudspeakers, Leisuretec Distribution is to hold an ‘open day’ launch for customers at its Bedfordshire HQ.
‘There has been a long standing relationship between Leisuretec Distribution and RCF UK’s Phil Price that stretches back more than 20 years – and that was a great foundation to build upon,’ says MD, Cliff Dounting. ‘RCF has a strong brand name in the industry – synonymous with high quality and excellent value for money, both of which we at Leisuretec regard very highly. We see this as a great opportunity to go confidently to the trade and promote these qualities to our clients.’
With its ‘medium power handling, high audio quality’ billing, the Media Series comprises three full-range models and three subwoofers, providing Leisuretec with options both in the A/V sector and leisure markets – such as bars and restaurants. The speakers can also be used as theatre fill systems.
Dounting and his team also recognised that the Media Series, having been designed to match both the cosmetics and voicing of the higher power Acustica C Series, can be used as extensions and in fills in an installation context. ‘They are both sonically and aesthetically complementary, and compete well with anything on the market in this class.
‘We believe the professional approach that Media Series brings to the market will create a real synergy, and we are excited by the opportunities it offers,’ he adds.
