Audiologic has announced its Manage+ managed services platform with the addition of Chris Jones to its Application Team.

Chris JonesWith Audiologic’s Technical Team having been in consistently in high demand, the company’s Manage+ managed services is designed to address the needs of A/V systems. Jones assumes the role of Application Support Engineer, bringing experience within the A/V industry and a solid reputation for his work.

‘Chris has been on our radar for some time, thanks to his impressive work with Q-Sys, Genelec and immersive classroom deployments,’ says Senior Technical Manager, Ben Spurgeon. ‘We already had a great rapport with him and, when the opportunity arose to bring him into our team, it was a chance we couldn’t afford to miss.’

Jones’ primary responsibilities will include managing commissioning services in the Midlands and Northern regions of the UK, where he will work with the existing team of engineers to ensure the seamless deployment of A/V solutions, including the roll-out of Manage+.

Manage+ guarantees users that their A/V systems are operating at peak performance, with the Audiologic team behind them. The services encompass remote support, enabling the application team to troubleshoot issues remotely, minimising downtime and reducing the need for on-site visits. Proactive management provides active monitoring of the system and addresses potential issues before they escalate, minimising downtime and promising optimal performance.

Additionally, equipment will be kept up to date with the latest firmware for access to new features and stability improvements. Regular reports on system uptime and usage will offer valuable insights into how the system is performing, facilitating operational optimisation.

‘The Application Team is at the core of our operations, and we take pride in the wide variety of backgrounds and industry knowledge we have within the team,’ Spurgeon says. ‘We’re all excited about the launch of our new managed services package and to welcome Chris aboard as we grow our team. We look forward to the contributions he will make to our company’s continued growth and success, and to growing our team further.’

‘I’ve been working closely with the team for the past couple of years, so it has made for an incredibly easy transition,’ Jones adds. ‘Commissioning sits right within my skill sets and I’m looking forward to seeing the projects we’re delivering over the coming months. Plenty to look forward to on the horizon.’
