The Legend of Han DynastyPerformances of The Legend of Han Dynasty begin in October at Hanyuan Lake, a new venue in the Shaanxi Province in China, usingspectacular lighting, waterscape displays and sound effects – and a new Allen & Heath dLive mixing system.

‘dLive has an incredibly intuitive interface and its simple operation makes it easy and quick to learn,’ says Hanyuan’s main sound engineer, Zhao Yangyang. ‘The integrated redundancy in dLive S Class hardware brings high reliability and safety to the system.

‘dLive processing is extremely powerful, the system is very flexible and supports Dante, Waves and other audio network option cards. The integrated FX and presets are also very useful, especially for live mixing or permanent installation applications.’

Purchased through local distributors EZPro International, the full set-up comprises a dLive S5000 paired with a DM64 MixRack and Dante card, for virtual soundcheck. ‘As well as providing excellent audio signals to the sound system, dLive has a really user-friendly interface,’ says EZPro Product Manager, Yang Guang. ‘Its intuitive operation, powerful processing ability and high reliability make this project a huge success. dLive is the perfect choice for this performance.’
