Vue Audiotechnik has added St Louis, Missouri/Charlotte, North Carlolina-based Events/com Audio Visual Production Services to its al-class network. Events/com will deploy newly delivered al-8 and al-4 Acoustic Linearity Line Arrays, and hs-28 ACM Subwoofer system, from both locations.

Events/com is a full-service provider of sound systems, large-screen projection, LED video walls, lighting, and complete video production services for corporate meetings and events. ‘With Vue in its arsenal, Events/com will deliver high-fidelity audio to the corporate world,’ says Vue Sales Rep, Jon Garner.

According to David Creswell and Cory Ramsey, Events/com production managers, the scalability of the al-class, coupled with the Vue support team, were key factors in their decision to take on the line.

‘The 120° dispersion on the al-4s is a great option that has proven to be very useful in our applications, as it allows us to use fewer cabinets for full coverage,’ Creswell says. ‘As this is our first line array system, Vue has been very transformative for our business. It has allowed us to be a point of contact for cross rentals in our territories, and being able to travel with a familiar PA, instead of working with the ‘flavor of the day’ in different cities, has been extremely beneficial. Vue’s quick access to training and post-purchase support has also been fantastic.’

According to Ramsey, Events/com plans to deploy the Vue system in performing art centres, ballrooms, convention centres, and outdoor venues: ‘We are thrilled to be a part of the expanding Vueniverse.’
