The Litore Resort Hotel & Spa on Turkey’s Gulf of Antalya has recently been fitted out with professional DAS Audio sound systems. The five-star hotel is located in the city of Alanya, one of the most popular tourist destinations on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, called in Melomani to handle the installation.
The Melomani sound technicians, faced with the challenge of providing audio for a range of different spaces, opted to bring in DAS Audio’s Event Line Array systems for Litore’s massive outdoor and pool area, where a stage is set up for the variety of performances and activities held for the resort’s guests. Specifically, three hangs of seven Event 210A line arrays each were installed as the main PA for the stage and surrounding outdoor area, along with three Action 218A powered subwoofers paired with two DR-512A bass loudspeakers to provide low-frequency punch.
The 1,300m2 swimming pool and swim-up bar were covered by DR-512A and Arco 24T systems, a combination of design and function that blends seamlessly into the décor. The outdoor system is completed with portable DAS Avant and DR systems, which were configured to suit the requirements of the resort’s range of outdoor activities.
Inside, the Melomani technicians recommended a combination of systems from DAS Audio’s Reference and Action series in Litore’s nightclub. Four RF-12.85 systems were installed together with Action 218A powered subwoofers, a combination that offers sound quality and power. The system is rounded out with a DR-512A bass loudspeakers and a DAS DSP-23 digital signal processor to control and manage the signal for the entire system.
A total of 120 CL-6T and 30 Arco 4T and 24T systems are installed in the gym and fitness zone, and DR-8 systems accompany CL-8T ceiling speakers in the resort’s three conference rooms.
