American pro audio plug-in company Plugin Alliance has joined Waves Audio’s pioneering Virtual Stock Software Distribution (VSSD) fulfilment programme as an alternative means of product distribution.

Waves launched VSSD in 2004 as a way for MI and pro audio dealers to sell software product while eliminating traditional inventory management and unnecessary stocking costs.

Customers can purchase any Plugin Alliance plug-in when walking into any VSSD system-enabled store. There they will receive a unique serial number in real time, which they can then redeem online.

Having previously cooperated with Waves to ensure that their respective proprietary USB flash drive activation systems allow users to use the same device for both their Plugin Alliance and Waves plug-ins and license files without interference, Plugin Alliance’s Premium Partner marks a new level of cooperation between the two companies.
