Featuring a 9mm back-electret transducer with a diaphragm measuring 5microns, the SR40V has a hypercardioid polar pattern and offers a frequency range of 80Hz to 40kHz. With a self-noise of 22dB SPL (A weighted), a sensitivity rating of 10mV/Pa (-40dBV/Pa), and a Peak Acoustic Output of 145dB SPL, the SR40V promises extremely low handling noise with robust performance and output capability.

This circuitry is handcrafted to match each capsule for optimum performance and is precisely what makes the SR40V so unique.’

Each microphone is handmade in the US and features a rugged stainless steel body. The SR40V is expected to be available Q1, 2011. Pricing has not yet been determined.
