Portuguese manufacturer Next Audiogroup had introduced the MOKA System ultra-compact plug-and-play line array system for flexible, high power and modular array configurations in a diverse range of sound reinforcement applications.

NEXT Audiogroup MOKA System Comprising the MOKA Array, the MOKA Sub and the MOKA Sub A, the system’s capabilities span from small to large events, extending to flown line array systems for live sound reinforcement at concerts and festivals, complete with adaptable subwoofer arrangements on the ground, or flown if needed.

Beyond its system flexibility, MOKA offers features and technologies designed to simplify the lives of installers, rental companies and bands.

Finished in a Polyurea painted multi-laminate birch plywood enclosure, the MOKA Array loudspeaker serves as a line array element. It is loaded with coaxially mounted 9-inch neodymium woofer and 3-inch neodymium HF drivers. Its waveguide ensures minimal interference between the arrays, creating a classic line array dispersion pattern with long throw and high energy density.

The MOKA Sub A is a 15-inch active bass-reflex subwoofer powered by a four-channel 2.3kW class-D amplifier module with DSP. This active subwoofer was engineered for high-level and extended low frequency output. Each Moka Sub A can power up to another Moka Sub (passive) and four Moka Arrays.

‘We know how flexible all the systems should be to fit the different venues,’ says NEXT Audiogroup Sales Manager, Sergio Pinto. ‘Having that in mind, we have developed these configurations to allow multiple combinations, and each system Medium, Large and Giant can be converted in a smaller configuration. As an example the Moka Large is equivalent to two Moka Medium, which is equivalent to two Moka Systems. This means that having a Large system means to have two Medium systems, or four Small Systems, only adding some additional accessories.’

Next Audiocom offers MOKA in four configurations: MOKA Small (4 Moka Array + 1 Moka Sub + 1 Moka Sub A), MOKA Medium (8 Moka Array + 2 Moka Sub + 2 Moka Sub A), MOKA Large (16 Moka Array + 4 Moka Sub + 4 Moka Sub A), and MOKA Giant (24 Moka Array + 6 Moka Sub + 6 Moka Sub A).
