B&C Speakers has announced the MBX Series of loudspeaker drivers.

These full-featured transducers incorporate lightweight neodymium motors, inside/outside wound copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils, weatherproof hydrophobic paper cones, and a symmetrical inductance profile. Available in 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch frame sizes, the MBX Series is especially well suited to use in two-way loudspeaker enclosures.

‘The MBX mid-bass woofers offer acoustic designers a new range of high-efficiency, wide-bandwidth alternatives that are not currently available in our product range,’ says Chief Technology Officer, Alessandro Pancani. ‘These woofers are a welcome addition to our catalogue, and will allow our OEM partners to enhance their products and push the market forward.’
