Ravenna Audio-over-IP technology developer ALC NetworX has launched a website dedicated to Ravenna and AES67.

The new website brings a new look and feel, as well as dynamic content in order to make Ravenna technology and information on the AES67 interoperability standard readily accessible. ‘Digital audio networking, and especially Audio-over-IP networking, is an extremely complex subject and knowledge levels vary enormously,’ says ALC NetworX’s Andreas Hildebrand. ‘Our aim with the new website was to present the key elements as clearly as possible with plenty of visual content in order to keep the message as uncluttered as possible.’

Visitors to the site will find product listings of Ravenna-enabled products, video content, access to a renewed YouTube channel and a Solutions area for manufacturers. The site also features a section covering the AES67 interoperability standard (published by the AES in 2013) and how it relates to digital audio networking in general and to Ravenna in particular. As part of the working committee that developed the standard, and in light of Ravenna being currently the only AoIP technology that is natively AES67-compatible, the new website offers one of the most comprehensive resources available for those looking for information on how to implement AES67 into their installations.
