Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (MK) has supplied a Sound Devices 664 audio production mixer to Dubai-based Belgian Sound recordist, David Thirion.
Thirion’s credits cover a wide range of productions, including documentaries, corporate videos and ENG-based network programmes. He purchased the Sound Devices 664 after a demonstration by NMK’s Sound Devices Product Specialist, Shajahan KK.
The 664 Field Production Mixer is the flagship of Sound Devices’ line of portable audio mixers, offering has six input channels and four output buses, and recording to both CF and SD cards. ‘The six high-bandwidth, low noise microphone preamplifiers with phantom, limiters, high-pass, pan, and direct outputs per channel making it an all-in-one choice for todays on-location recordists,’ says Shajahan KK. ‘When used with the CL-6, the 664 extends its recording capability to a total of 16 tracks.’
