Two Midas Pro9 digital live audio systems nhave been supplied to Dubai-based Gearhouse Staging Connections by Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK). The sale includes two Pro9 surfaces with DL251s and DL451s I/O boxes, as well as a Klark Teknik DN9441 Rapide EQ Controller.
‘Gearhouse has made a major investment in equipment over the summer, and a major portion of this has been from thei company’s audio department – and especially on the Midas consoles,’ says Chicco Hiranandani, Business Development Manager at NMK. ‘It has been a long process with the first Midas demo in the summer of 2010 and subsequently discussions over the intervening period. But with an increasing number of technical riders including Midas, there really was no question which consoles Gearhouse would be investing in for the future.’
The Midas Pro9 sits at the top of the Midas Pro Series, featuring 88 input channels and 35 buses and offers same comprehensive effects and dynamics processing as the Pro6 and XL8, including XL8 compressor presets.
