Simaudio signs first distributor for new pro audio line

Following the launch of the Moon 3500MP preamp at the San Francisco AES Convention, Canadian audio equipment manufacturer Simaudio has signed an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement with Audio Plus Services, the distributor for Focal Professional, Lauten Audio and Vovox products in North America.

Although it is its first venture into pro audio, Simaudio has ambitions for the 3500MP to become ‘a new reference for the engineer or studio in the audio recording process’.

‘The Moon 3500MP leads our company deeper into studio tools that our customers use,’ says Simon Côté, Manager of Professional Products at Audio Plus Services. ‘We already provide monitors, microphones and cable solutions for the professional studio, and with the nw Moon pro audio line we can expand to other areas of audio processing. Simaudio is well known for audiophile home music equipment and we’re confident that the pro audio community will embrace the new reference-quality offerings we have – including the Moon 3500MP.’
