AKG has unveilied a line of commemorative products to mark its 65th anniversary. Limited edition C451 condenser microphones and K702 headphones are now available worldwide.
The C451 65th Anniversary Edition condenser mic draws on the legendary C451 EB with CK1 capsule. Since its introduction in 1969, the C451 has been continuously improved and has fseen service in the harshest onstage environments. The C451’s transformer-less preamp enables high sound pressure levels to be accommodated, allowing close miking of sources up to 155dB SPL without distortion.
The K702 Anniversary Edition headphones have newly designed leather headband and soft velour ear pads. With its patented Varimotion two-layer diaphragm and revolutionary flat-wire voice coil, accompany an over-ear, open-back design.
