QSC Audio Products has launched QSCtraining.com, promising ‘an engaging and interactive look into the products and technologies that make QSC products the superior choice for professional customers worldwide’.

QSCtraining.comThe website carries training courses and product presentations, as well as instructional videos and podcasts, covering the full QSC line – including loudspeakers, amplifiers, networking and signal processing. Online tests and assessments based on the course material give users feedback on their progress, while rating comprehension on the material they have just learned. A number of training modules on QSCtraining.com will soon count toward the RU requirements for InfoComm Certification.

‘At QSC, we believe that our products speak for themselves in terms of quality and performance,’ says Patrick Heyn, QSC Multimedia Production Manager. ‘The more education and information we are able to offer our customers, the more we can assist them in making informed decisions and maximise their user experience.’

Unlike training websites where user information or registration is required to gain entry to content, QSCtraining.com is open to the public and free of charge. All courses on the site are nonlinear and fully searchable. For example, a user can take an entire course to become certified on the Q-Sys Integrated System Platform, or choose to search individual modules for help on a specific Q-Sys component.

‘A professional’s time in a work week is precious. Taking time off to attend a training class in person is not always an option,’ Heyn says. ‘We have designed the site to ensure that all users can have access to all of our latest product information and training at any time that is convenient for them. Most of the modules are divided into 5-minute segments. So even if a user has just a few extra minutes, we can still offer them the opportunity to learn more about QSC products.’

QSCtraining.com will also be host live events and podcasts intended to enable users located anywhere in the world to interact with a live QSC representative.
