Powersoft parent company Powersoft SpA has signed an agreement for the supply of amplification modules with Holoplot for the development of a new immersive venue featuring advanced immersive technology.
The agreement builds on a collaboration between Powersoft and Holoplot that began in 2019 and has, to date, resulted in the supply of innovative amplification solutions for the audio system in the Las Vegas Sphere. Although no location for the new venue has been revealed, the agreement confirms the continuity of a partnership developed through a succession of international projects. For this latest, Powersoft will provide audio systems for a venue that will represent ‘the new frontier of entertainment’, providing audiences with an immersive audio and video experience.
More specifically, the system comprises Powersoft’s compact, ultra-high-efficiency 16-channel amplifiers integrated into the Holoplot X1 audio system. The installation leverages Powersoft technology to deliver significant energy savings compared with traditional amplifiers, maximising efficiency without compromising sound quality.
In addition to the 16-channel amplifiers integrated into the Holoplot X1 Matrix Array, Powersoft will supply its patented IPAL (Integrated Powered Adaptive Loudspeaker) technology, used in the X1 system’s subwoofers. IPAL optimises low-frequency acoustic performance by responding to operating conditions in real time, enhancing the performance of the system regardless of load and acoustic conditions.
The total value of the supply agreement is approximately €6m. Deliveries are expected to take place in several tranches and will be completed during 2027, enabling Holoplot to complete its supply in line with the project schedule and the planned opening of the venue.
