Mumbai-based SNL Pro Sound & Light Professionals has expanded its large-format sound reinforcement inventory with a significant investment in the TT+ Audio GTX Series. The system has already been deployed for its first live production.
Among the largest technical reinforcement companies for live and televised events in India, SNL Pro now owns one of the most complete large-format touring rigs yet assembled in South Asia by a single rental house. It comprises GTX 12 and GTX 10 line array modules, GTS 29 subwoofers, XPS 16KD DSP amplifiers and accessories for rigging and transport. The addition of the GTX Series advances the company’s ability to deliver sonic performance, high output, and system scalability for demanding large-scale applications.
‘This is not just an upgrade; it is a statement of intent,’ says founder and Director, Manish Mavani. ‘We are investing aggressively in the future of live experiences in India. The GTX Series represents the absolute pinnacle of contemporary audio engineering globally, and this move ensures SNL Pro is now setting benchmarks, not chasing them.’
The investment continues a collaboration of more than 20 years between SNL Pro and TT+ Audio’s distribution partner in India. ‘We are proud to stand beside SNL Pro as they architect a brand-new standard for live sound in India,’ adds Hi-Tech Audio & Image founder and CEO, Rajan Gupta. ‘TT+ Audio’s GTX systems are definitive game-changers for this moment. By combining cutting-edge European engineering with our rigorous local support, we are ensuring that Indian rental partners lead from the front and confidently own the future of high-end touring.’
The timing of this acquisition is strategic, as industry projections indicate India’s entertainment and media industry will expand at nearly twice the global average by the end of the decade. ‘SNL Pro’s investment reflects a clear commitment to advanced touring technologies and marks an important milestone for TT+ Audio in India,’ says RCF International Sales Manager, Federico Lugli. ‘With the GTX Series now supporting one of the country’s leading production companies, we expect it to play an increasingly important role in international touring productions and major live events across the region. We are proud to support SNL Pro together with our long-standing partner, Hi-Tech Audio & Image.’
