German event technology provider Swift Eventtechnik has expanded its dBTechnologies’ VIO series inventory with 16 VIO L1608 line array modules complemented by subwoofers, point sources and accessories, supporting event sizes, ranging from club productions featuring electronic music through to corporate events and town festivals.

Swift Eventtechnik is a young, innovative company based in the Hannover area, founded in 2024. Over the course of roughly a year, Swift has expanded its system and consistently aligned it with the VIO platform. Until March 2026, the VIO L208 model was in use. When the next expansion stage was due, Jürgen Höcker, Senior Sales Manager at dBTechnologies, introduced the new VIO L1608. Following a direct comparison of both systems at the dBTechnologies Deutschland Audio Arena in Cologne, the team was convinced after the very first listening test to switch entirely to the VIO L1608.

‘We have spent recent years putting virtually every relevant sound reinforcement system from various manufacturers through its paces in real-world deployment, and made a deliberate decision in favour of dBTechnologies VIO,’ say Swift Eventtechnik Managing Directors, Emre Ölcen and Luca Grundmann.

‘For many clients and artists, the VIO system is often their first encounter with the platform, and the feedback - particularly within the electronic music scene – has been consistently very positive. These experiences repeatedly confirm our decision. At the same time, we will continue to expand our VIO inventory going forward and place an even sharper focus on sound productions.’

‘Different event sizes and budgets call for a system that scales flexibly while consistently delivering a high standard of quality. With the VIO series, we have found a system platform that convinces both technically and commercially,’ they continue. ‘What excites us is not just the VIO L1608 itself, but the architecture of the entire series. By combining point sources, various subwoofers and the line array, a single product family allows us to cover the widest range of event sizes professionally. This considerably simplifies our processes and lets us develop our inventory in a targeted way.’

The deciding factors behind the investment were improved sound quality, significantly greater headroom and higher output, at almost identical handling and smaller dimensions. A2Net provides a further benefit – audio and network connections carried over a single cable, noticeably simplifying cabling on site.

‘We particularly value our collaboration with dBTechnologies,’ say Ölcen and Grundmann add. ‘It is clear that the products are being continuously developed, with user feedback actively feeding into that development. It is this combination of innovation, scalability and practical relevance that has convinced us to commit to the VIO series for the long term.’

In addition to the VIO L1608 modules, Swift Eventtechnik’s VIO inventory today comprises the VIO S218, VIO S118R, X310, X206 and X12. All components interlock – from point source deployments through groundstacks to line array productions with varying subwoofer configurations, the widest range of sound reinforcement concepts can be realised within a single, unified platform.

Because the VIO series is fully active by design, conventional amplifier racks are not required, simplifying planning, logistics and rigging, allowing Swift Eventtechnik to deliver productions more efficiently while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality across every event size and budget.
