Sensaphonics has relocated to new facilities in Chicago after 34 years at its previous location, marking ‘a significant step forward for the company’ as it continues to grow its footprint in pro audio, audiology and hearing conservation.
With more than four decades in in-ear monitoring and hearing health solutions, the new space is designed to support increased production capacity, enhanced clinical services and continued R&D initiatives. bring its manufacturing, clinical and educational efforts together under one roof.
Designed with the working musician in mind, the new facility features demo areas that provide more immersive, real-world listening experiences, along with a layout that improves continuity between lab, clinic and client interactions. Expanded audiology and lab space, enhanced facilities for virtual appointments, and a convenient setting close to major venues with improved public transportation access in a vibrant part of the city, ensure that visiting artists, engineers and industry professionals can more easily access the company’s specialised care and expertise.
The company was founded in 1985 by music audiologist Dr Michael Santucci Au.D.

Our expanded facility allows us to push further into research, education and product development, while continuing to provide the personalised, high-quality care our clients rely on. The new space also supports Sensaphonics’ ongoing efforts in hearing health education and advocacy, including training programmes for audiologists and outreach within the music and pro audio communities.
