A ‘bold new extension of the MTV Roadies brand’, the Club and Café Roadies concept offers Udaipur diners a high-octane environment in which to enjoy eating and drinking to the accompaniment of a Martin Audio Blackline X installation.
With a Wall of Fame celebrating previous winners of India’s longest-running reality TV show and interior design using imagery from the series, the venues combine nostalgic vibes alongside music and DJ performances.
The result of a collaboration between Viacom 18 and Work With Fun, the audio brief for integrator Securetech AV Designs was for a sound system that combined power, precision and long-term reliability in a demanding club setting. It needed to support extended operating hours, adapting to varying crowd densities, and meet the demands of live DJ performances maintaining the dining experience.
Securetech AV Designs turned to Martin Audio’s Blackline X Series of two-way passive loudspeakers, combining sound quality, dispersion control and reliability for fixed installations. The system design comprises Blackline X8, X10, and X12 models, with the loudspeakers’ controlled dispersion delivering precise coverage across the venue’s layout. Paired with Blackline X118 subwoofers, the system delivers the low-frequency authority essential for the true club sound experience.
