dBTechnologies has found the first adopter of its new VIO L1608 line-array system in German event technology provider Marko Giese Veranstaltungsservice. The company’s clients can now draw on an inventoryof 16 VIO L1608 modules.
Designed for professional touring and event applications, the VIO L1608 gives three-way performance in the enclosure size of a conventional two-way dual 8-inch system. The result is a high-performance, flexible line-array module suitable for both touring and installation environments, offering high SPL capability and precise sonic reproduction despite its compact footprint.
Marko Giese and dBTechnologies share a long-standing partnership, as Giese explains: ‘We have been working with dBTechnologies products since the T4 era and have closely followed the development from T4 to T8, T12, VIO L208 and now the new L1608. I purchased the VIO L1608 without a prior listening test – simply because I trust dBTechnologies systems to deliver outstanding sound quality, efficient handling and exceptional value as a complete solution. The VIO L1608 has once again confirmed that trust.
‘The interoperability within the VIO platform is another decisive factor for smooth operation in real-world use. All systems are fully compatible and can be controlled down to the smallest parameter via Aurora Net,’ he adds.
‘We are very pleased that Marko Giese Veranstaltungsservice has adopted the VIO L1608 at such an early stage,’ says dBTechnologies Technical Director, Jochen Gotzen. ‘Experienced users who have been working with our systems for many years provide valuable practical feedback, which directly informs our ongoing product development.’
With this first delivery, the VIO L1608 officially enters broader market deployment. Further installations with rental and touring companies are already planned.
