Outline has appointed Riccos Sound & Light as exclusive distributor for Cyprus, a market where demand for installation and live event services continues to evolve. The agreement followed a visit to Outline’s headquarters by Pambos and Dimitris Christodoulou (owners and managers of Riccos Sound & Light), confirming a shared approach to technology, service and long-term development.

Pambos Christodoulou (Riccos Sound & Light), Fernando Rey Méndez (Outline), Dimitris Christodoulou (Riccos Sound & Light)Founded in 1989, Riccos Sound & Light is one of Cyprus’ longest-established family-owned companies in the pro audio and lighting industry. Launched as the first musical instrument shop in Paphos, the company subsequently expanded into professional sound, lighting, event production and system integration. Both brothers trained in London – Pambos in audio engineering at SAE and LAE, and Dimitris in advanced lighting – laying the foundation for the expertise that has enabled the company to take on larger installations and technically demanding projects across the island.

According to Pambos Christodoulou, Outline’s technological approach was a decisive factor in the partnership: ‘Outline has always struck us as a company that builds things with intention – solid engineering, real durability and a clear technical identity,’ he says. ‘We’ve followed their journey over the years, and knowing the experience behind the brand made us confident that this partnership would be a good match for us.’

From Riccos Sound & Light’s perspective, Outline’s product families align well with the structure of the Cypriot market. The P Series, comprising six compact coaxial models, is expected to serve both rental and installation needs. Riccos Sound sees these systems fitting not only the ‘bread-and-butter’ work of live sound, theatre and corporate events, but also fixed installations in clubs, theatres and immersive or distributed audio environments, all of which are common across the island.

The A Series, with its slim form factor and discreet design, is well suited to refined hospitality spaces.

Pambos highlights the H Series’ relevance in places of worship such as churches and monasteries, as well as other acoustically demanding venues where speech intelligibility is often a challenge. The H Series’ features are well-suited to the frequent scenarios encountered in Cyprus.

Beyond the small-to-mid rental market served by the P Series, Riccos Sound & Light identifies Superfly and Mantas 28 as systems suited to festivals and full-scale live productions. ‘We’ve always stood close to our clients, whatever the scale of their needs,’ Pambos adds.’We believe in tailored service – from installation to after-sales support and training.’

‘Hosting Pambos and Dimitris offered us the opportunity to show not only our technologies, but also the way we work as an organisation,’ says Outline Sales & Marketing Director, Fernando Rey Méndez. ‘Every visit involves several departments – from engineering to applications and business development – each contributing with their own expertise. When partners see how coordinated and methodical this process is, it becomes easier to understand the culture behind our products. Their engagement throughout the visit made the exchange especially productive.’
