Assistive listening specialist Contacta Systems, has entered the Asia-Pacific market with a region-wide distribution deal with Hong Kong-based IT and A/V services provider YYST Global to will offer products from Contacta’s window intercom, RF, IR and hearing loop ranges.
‘As with many parts of the world, the APAC region has a growing elderly demographic and with that comes a greater prevalence of hearing loss,’ says Contacta Head of New Business Development, Ran Meyrav. ‘Awareness of assistive listening technology is growing rapidly and we’re delighted to have established this partnership with YYST Global to serve that interest.
‘We have a sales history in the region but wanted to find a local distribution partner to increase our reach to market and offer better support. YYST were an ideal partner for that, and have a well-established client base.’
YYST Global has a network of regional offices and distribution centres that now give customers in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines and Hong Kong access to Contacta products.
