With Dawid Gabara’s DWD Sound growing rapidly, upgrading the Łódź-based company’s audio department became a strategic priority and – after extensive research and demonstrations from various manufacturers, focusing on systems up to DWD’s own requirements and those of visiting sound engineers – an Outline PA system was selected.
The story of DWD Sound goes back to 2009 when, after years working as a sound engineer and collaborating with numerous artists, founder Gabara established his own production company. What began as a personal venture has since evolved into a full-scale provider of stage technology, offering stage, lighting and sound solutions for open-air concerts, large conferences, corporate events and a wide range of live productions.
The company’s new set-up comprises 24 Superfly, 12 Mantas 28 and 12 DBS 18-2 subwoofers, supported by Outline amplifiers and a Newton FPGA processor – and further expansion is already being considered. In daily use, the system’s coverage and headroom have stood out as key strengths. ‘The efficiency, dynamics and sound quality were decisive factors,’ says Gabara.
The first season with the new Outline rig has already included major open-air shows, performances by top artists across Poland and corporate events hosting international audiences. According to Gabara, the feedback has been consistently enthusiastic: ‘Both the artists’ sound engineers and foreign guests shared very positive comments. The high quality of Outline’s products played an essential role in achieving such strong reactions.’
Gabara also highlights the relationship with the manufacturer: ‘Excellent communication and direct support from the Outline team.’
Looking ahead, DWD Sound is continuing its expansion across staging, lighting and audio. ‘We’re growing on multiple fronts – and when it comes to sound, we definitely haven’t said our final word yet.’
For DWD Sound, investing in Outline primarily means strengthening the company’s reliability for future productions. The past season confirmed the system’s real-world performance, and the team now looks to 2026 with the intention of fully leveraging its versatility on larger-scale events.
