Jaipur-based rental company Chopra Sound has invested in 24 Martin Audio flagship WPL line array enclosures, aiming to redefine large-scale event production for the family business across the Indian northwest state of Rajasthan.
Now in its 50th year the company’s order includes 16 SXH218 subwoofers and ten iKon amplifiers all supplied by Vardhaman Megatech (VMT), Martin Audio’s Indian distributor. ‘This massive deployment gives Chopra Sound the capability to take on projects of unprecedented size without compromising quality,’ VMT believes.
‘Choosing Martin Audio has given us a clear edge in the market,’ says Chopra Sound founder and Director, Puneet Chopra. ‘The WPL line arrays provide scale and clarity that impress clients, and the SXH218 subs bring power that audiences truly feel.
‘With the stability of iKon iK42 amplifiers, we now deliver consistent results, event after event. This system has strengthened our reputation for excellence, expanded our opportunities and positioned us for long-term growth.’
‘We are proud to welcome Chopras into the Martin Audio family,’ adds VMT Director, Jeff Mandot. ‘The choice reflects a relationship built on trust and shared values, and this backbone of reliability will enable them to execute events with absolute confidence, knowing the system will perform flawlessly every time.
‘With such an extensive set-up, Chopra has not only future-proofed its inventory but also positioned itself as a leader capable of handling the most prestigious productions in the region – cementing its reputation as innovators, risk-takers and trusted partners in India’s growing live sound industry.’
