In the planning stage for some time, the ACETA Member Circle (AMC) has been established as a forum to ‘close the education gap and deliver individual and corporate knowledge’ as an additional and complementary benefit to members and associate members of the Australian Commercial & Entertainment Association.

Established in Melbourne in 2011, ACETA is the Australia’s industry association for audio, lighting, vision, staging, communications and control equipment, and associated technologies. The body promotes the common interests of its members, and provides them with a united voice, a forum for discussion and a representative peak body to address the challenges confronting a rapidly changing sector.

ACETA Member Circle communications will be delivered by personal e-mail on a monthly basis, and presented in a to-the-point manner, ‘often confronting, aimed at stimulating thought and motivating action’.

‘To ensure maximum attention in the early stages, the AMC will to be presented in an easy to read and engaging 500-word document,’ says ACETA President, Frank Hinton. ‘However, it’s potential may see it evolve into a more diverse platform.

‘A dedicated and effective industry education forum should be embraced by all committed participants particularly in its formative phase, and we seek your patience and support. The inaugural edition of the AMC is being delivered to members and associate members this week.’
