UK design and manufacturing company Nixer Pro Audio have announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Professional Audio & Television for Australia and New Zealand.
Nixer Pro Audio designs and manufactures high-quality and cost-effective audio monitoring and diagnostics tools, switches and patches for Audio-over-IP applications including Dante, Ravenna, AES67 and ST2110. These are used daily by sound engineers, broadcast studios and pro audio rental companies for critical on-air audio monitoring for live, install and broadcast.
With intuitive user experiences and interoperability between Dante and AES67 in a single unit, Nixer Pro Audio has simplified the IP journeys of some of the world’s most prolific TV, radio, OTT and playout facilities, as well as theatres and high-end A/V corporate, government and education facilities. Having launched the flagship Nixer PD Dante in 2018, the company has a long and proven pedigree in electronic product design for the pro audio industry. Through the years, it has developed a deep understanding of high-pressure environments and have continued to proudly design, build and expand their product line as a direct result of customer and industry feedback.
Nixer Pro Audio products include the PD Dante (a portable 64-channel Dante Network diagnostic, control and audio monitor); the RD Dante (a rack-mount version of the PD Dante); and the RLC64 (a 64-channel AoIP monitor and mixer for Dante or Ravenna). There is also the RL Series of products providing up to 256 channels of Dante and/or Ravenna in a 1U-high monitor and mixer as well as AoIP Patch units, Network monitors and remote controllers.
