APG has placed its first Uniline compact line array system in Russia.

Yugdoka Based in southern Russia, Yugdoka – which, in addition to its distribution services, runs a rental and installation business – has taken delivery of eight APG UL210 and six UL115B cabinets, along with eight DX12 multipurpose monitor speakers.

As a long-standing APG customer and distributor, Yugdoka has added the new speakers to the Matrix system and TB subs that forms part of its rental inventory. As a distributor, the company has sold numerous APG systems of varying types into clubs and theatres throughout the territory.

However, as APG’s Xavier Pion reports, this is their very first Uniline order: ‘The team at Yugdoka is already familiar with many APG products, and the Matrix system in particular. In fact, system engineer Andrei Sichev can be considered as something of a Matrix expert.

‘The company had been considering Uniline for a while, and I’m pleased to report that the first step has now been taken. The system will be used for demo purposes and Yugdoka is intending to add more boxes in the near future. They’ve also taken no fewer than 12 DX12s for rental stock and demos, so they now have a full complement of ‘new generation’ product to present to the market.’

‘We are committed to APG in Russia and we have done some good work with the company’s products over the years,’ says Yugdoka owner, Alexander Kharchenko. ‘The quality of the equipment has always been excellent, both acoustically and in terms of build quality. Uniline is the flagship new-generation product so we are delighted to be the first to bring this system into Russia. If it does as well as the rest of their range, then I am looking forward to doing some good business with Uniline. We hope that it is also a first step in introducing the Uniline Solution into Russia to enable collaboration on major events.’
