The appointment of Sonotone as dBTechnologies’ new India distributor is timed well for the Mumbai-based company to showcase the loudspeaker manufacturer’s products for the first time in India at at the forthcoming Palm India show

Sonotone will show dBTechnologies’ new Cromo series, FM12 floor monitors, and a selection of models from the Opera Digital range, as well as the heftier S20 and SUB 18D subwoofers. The DVA T4 – which has been seen before in India – will also be on show. ‘There has been increasing demand from end-users who want dBTechnologies powered speakers to be available in India,’ explains Martin Capp, Asia-Pacific Area Sales Manager at dBTechnologies. ‘I’m confident that Palm India will be a great show for Sonotone,’ he adds.

From its foundation two decades ago by BV Nagpal, Sonotone has maintained a close relationship with users, which has meant the company has been able to build a a healthy customer base. ‘It was our great fortune to come to an arrangement with dBTechnologies to represent them, as the time was right to further expand our business,’ Sonotone General Manager, Karan Nagpal says. ‘Distributing the dBTechnologies range gives us access to state-of-the-art products from MI to high-end professional applications.’

dBTechnologies joins ranks with ‘the best technologically advanced products,’ offered by Sonotone, according to its website. The company supplies speaker systems for general installations, cinema and high end professional audio. ‘Sonotone are an excellent choice for dBTechnologies distribution in India, they have a long history and are respected by their Indian customers,’ Capp adds.

Asia -Pacific region show-goers will be able to see dBTechnologies new DVAline array module at Palm Beijing, where it will be making its debut in Asia at Chinese Distributor, Sharp Dragon.
