TSL Products and Emotion Systems have formalised their technology partnership, enabling TSL Products to bring Phinix file-based audio solutions to the global market. The move is being quoted by TSL as demonstration of its ‘ongoing commitment to find the best third-party solutions that complement its own product line and solve customers’ real world broadcast challenges’.

‘We have an established direct global sales network and reputation that helps bring products to new markets,’ says MD, Chris Exelby. ‘We work closely with our partners’ development teams to provide customer feedback that helps our partners refine their products and develop a strong and appropriate roadmap. It was a natural step to broaden our portfolio with a file-based audio management solution, and Emotion’s Engine product – which we market under the Phinix name – fits our vision perfectly

‘What people used to do with tape, they still want to do with files,’ says Emotion Systems CEO, MC Patel. ‘We’re completely immersed in the audio processing that’s needed for file-based workflows, for loudness, Dolby E (encode, decode), track mapping and more. We do audio for video engineers. TSL Products has excellent knowledge of the audio environment and the global reach that can bring our solutions to a wider audience. This is a truly complementary partnership that will help us to build our business, and we look forward to extending our partnership in the future.’
