UAE service production house Delta Sound has extended its equipment inventory with a new consignment of HK Audio reinforcement soudspeakers.
Melody House, the UAE distributor of HK Audio systems, supplied 16 HK CT108 cabinets. Delta Sound is the dedicated pro audio specialist providing support to major production and equipment rental companies in the UAE. Projects presently include the opening of the Atlantis Hotel, George Michael, F1 concerts in Abu Dhabi and numerous corporate events. The company is confident that it is ‘carving a niche, providing technical support to the major rental companies in the region’.
The CT 108 is a passive full-range speaker cabinet, featuring a dual-purpose housing that encourages use both as an FOH/delay speaker and a stage monitor. ‘CT108s provide great clarity at a relatively high SPL in a compact enclosure,’ says Melody House Business Development Manager, Dino Drimakis. ‘Since they operate at 16Ω impedance, rental companies can run four on each amplifier channel making them a great solution.’
