Audient takes direct route to US market

Effective from 1 October, console manufacturer Audient is to handle its US sales dirctly from its UK HQ. ‘Being in closer contact with our US customers will allow us access to direct feedback, giving us the opportunity to react more quickly to the market’s needs, while developing the Audient brand more effectively in this territory,’ says Sales & Marketing Director, Luke Baldry.

The move coincides with the shipping of the latest release from the Audient stable – the Dual Layer analogue console and DAW controller, ASP2802. ‘The Dual Layer feature represents a massive leap forward for us in terms of technology and we feel today’s market is perfectly suited to this approach to mixing and control, especially at the price we can offer,’ Baldry says.
