Gordon Dutch has been appointed an Ambassador for GivingBack.tech (GB.t) and for Together for Cinema (TFC).
GivingBack.tech is an initiative from TFC that enables the A/V industry to repurpose surplus equipment by donating it to charities and community interest companies across the UK. By facilitating these donations, the platform helps reduce waste and ensures valuable technology can have a second life and deliver meaningful benefits to communities.
With more than 35 years experience in the A/V sector, Dutch has held senior leadership roles across organisations including Peerless-AV, BBG Distribution and Prestige Audio. He is currently CEO of Re-Sauce, a business specialising in sales strategy, marketing and PR for the professional A/V market. He has received multiple industry honours, including induction into both the SCN Global Hall of Fame and Commercial Integrator’s Living Legends series in 2025, recognising his long-standing contribution to the A/V industry.
In his role as Ambassador, Gordon will help raise awareness of GivingBack.tech, strengthen engagement across the A/V community and support the continued growth of both initiatives.
‘Ian Morrish and I have been friends for well over 30 years,’ Dutch says. ‘We first met when I owned BBG and Ian was working with Audio T and CEDIA. I have supported Together for Cinema since its inception. It’s an amazing charity and when Ian asked me to get involved with GivingBack.tech, I was only too happy to help. It’s a super-exciting initiative and something I feel passionately about.’
TFC, meanwhile, continues to unite manufacturers, integrators and partners to deliver professionally designed cinema rooms for children’s hospices and other care environments across the UK, working alongside GB.t to extend the industry’s positive impact.
‘Gordon has been a long-term supporter of Together for Cinema and a hugely respected figure within our industry,’ concludes TFC and GB.t Founder, Ian Morrish. ‘His experience and industry relationships will be instrumental in helping us grow GivingBack.tech and further expand the reach of both initiatives.’
