Genelec has strengthened its A/V business with the appointment of Audio XL as its distribution partner for throughout the Benelux region. While Genelec’s professional studio product lin continues to be handled by Audio-Technica Benelux, Audio XL now takes on the Genelec AV Installation range.

Audio XL’s appointment deepens the relationship between Genelec and the European AV Group, providing the company’s A/V customers with high levels of experience, professionalism and service across the six DACH and Benelux territories.

Founded in 2004 and based in Utrecht, the Audio XL team specialises in the live, retail and installed sound markets and combines exceptional levels of sales and marketing expertise, technical knowledge and system design – backed by quality logistics. With a separate showroom in Antwerp, Belgium, and two independent sales teams, Audio XL is equipped to handle the entire region and its various language requirements.

As the distributor of brands including A/V system automation and integration solution providers AMX and Harman, Audio XL already brings an impressive range of AV system solutions to an extensive network of customers across Benelux, to which Genelec’s loudspeaker technology provides a suitable complement.

Since 2019, Audio XL has formed a key part of the European AV Group, which also includes existing Genelec distribution partners Audio Pro in Germany and Arocom in Switzerland, who together service the DACH A/V market. The group has positioned itself as a leading distributor for professional A/V, offering consultative sales and service competence, dedicated training academies, marketing skills and excellent relationship management with manufacturers, integrators and dealers.
