More AV has extended its Funktion-One distribution to include Belgium and Luxembourg, making it the loudspeaker manufacturer’s representative for the entire Benelux region. The company, which is headquartered in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, has been a key Funktion-One partner for almost 20 years.

Led by founder Remco van der Werff, More AV will build on the foundation set by outgoing distributor, Soundsystem.be, whose owners – Tia Broodcoorens and Lieven Pillaert – are closing the company in order to pursue personal projects. For Pillaert, this includes working with More AV in a consultative capacity.

‘We’ve known Remco and his team for a long time, and know they will continue with their professional and attentive approach,’ says Funktion-One’s Ann Andrews. ‘We’re thankful for everything Soundsystem.be has given as part of the Funktion-One family, and wish Tia and Lieven every success in the future.’

‘We are looking forward to growing Funktion-One’s presence in Belgium and Luxemburg and working closely with local dealers and rental partners,’ adds van der Werff. ‘We take a lot of pride in the work we do and the brands we represent, and understand the importance of building lasting relationships with our partners.’

In addition to the new distribution arrangement, More AV has expanded its headquarters, adding a small demo room for Funktion-One’s Compact Range.
