UK system integrator dB Broadcast has added Oliver Allgood to its engineering team as a Project Manager.

Reporting to, Engineering Director Graham Pearl, he will initially initially spend time in Sales & Marketing, before becoming more involved in managing projects within the Engineering department. A new approach for dB Broadcast, it is expected that Allgood’s training will extend to three years before becoming a key member of the company’s engineering team.

Since graduating from The University of Salford in 2015, Allgood’s first placement was Technical Support Consultant at Black Magic Design, where he offered frontline technical support to customers in Europe, Middle East & Africa. From here, he worked as a Media Management Operator for Red Bee Media in Salford, being a part of the migration team from the BBC’s old playout and TX chain to new broadcast operations, an area in which dB has been especially active.
