Danley Sound Labs has announced the AXS Series of compact loudspeakers and subwoofers. At launch, this comprises three loudspeakers, three subwoofers, and two amplifiers.
The AXS33 is a compact loudspeaker featuring dual 3-inch drivers, delivering mid‑ and high‑frequency performance with a sensitivity of 93dB. The AXS5 uses a 5-inch coaxial driver with 80° conical coverage, with a frequency range of 60Hz to 19kHz, and a sensitivity of 89dB. Completing the range, the AXS8 features an 8-inch coaxial driver, offering the same frequency range as the AXS5 while providing increased output capability with a sensitivity of 96dB.
Three complementary subwoofers are also available – the AXS88, featuring two 8-inch long-excursion low-frequency drivers with a response of 35Hz to 400Hz and a sensitivity of 89dB. The accompanying AXS12 features a 12-inch LF driver with a frequency of 32Hz to 400Hz and sensitivity of 96dB. The AXS 15 features a 15-inch low-frequency driver with a frequency of 35Hz to 400Hz and a sensitivity of 96dB.
This Series is completed with additional three-channel amplifiers, delivering 1kW and 4kW.
‘The AXS Series fills a gap we’ve long identified in our product line-up,’ says Danley Sound Labs Director of Pro Audio, Skip Welch. ‘While we already offer several compact solutions, the AXS Series is ideal for integrators working on smaller‑scale installations—such as restaurants, bars, and hospitality venues—where a complete, cohesive system is needed.’
The AXS Series is now available from Danley Sound Labs dealers and integrators.
