RCF has expanded its EvoX line-up with three active column systems built around a true three-way electroacoustic design, a new amplification platform and a clean, neutral aesthetic.
At the heart of EvoX J is a dedicated high-frequency section: a 1.75-inch neodymium compression driver (Kapton dome) loaded by RCF’s True Resistive Waveguide (TRW), engineered to deliver constant 120°x40° coverage and designed to reduce horn harshness. The midrange is handled by an array of 3-inch neodymium cone transducers that integrates the HF section to provide the focused ‘single-source feel’ associated with point-source systems.
Low frequencies come from a high-power 12-inch woofer in a bass-reflex enclosure. A new generation of class-D amplification delivers 2.1kW (J9/JMIX9) or 3.5kW (J11), providing significantly more headroom than previous architectures. The system is managed by onboard processing that includes FiRPhase (0º linear-phase response with minimal latency), Bass Motion Control (extended low-end without instability) and protection features.
The range includes the EvoX J9 delivering 130dB max SPL offering 2.1kW, 6× 3-inch mid array, three EQ presets (Live/Linear, Club, Voice), the EvoX JMx9 a J9 acoustic platform plus an integrated 8-channel stereo digital mixer with 2.4-inch colour touch display, THAT Corporation mic preamps, Bluetooth Audio, per-channel processing, scene recall, audio ducker, reverb and JMixRemote app control via Bluetooth BLE and EvoX J11 offering 132dB max SPL, 3500 W, 12× 3-inch mid array, four EQ presets (Live, Linear, Club, Voice) and PowerCon True1-Top for more demanding professional use. For extended low-frequency, EvoX J systems can be paired with compatible RCF subwoofers using ACE integration presets (Sub AX series), aligning delay and phase for optimised summation and extreme bass impact.
Drawing on a decade of EvoX adoption in DJ, live performance and rental applications, EvoX J is a ground-up evolution focused on higher headroom, clearer vocal projection and faster deployment. All models are available in black or white.
