ESI Audio has announced the planet 22c Dante audio interface, enabling Dante networks to be expanded quickly and easily in live performance, broadcast stations and in permanent installations. The planet 22c is also suited to mobile use dueto its compact size and low weight.

ESI Audio planet 22cFollowing the planet 22x, this is the second Dante-capable device offered by ESI.

The planet 22c interface is equipped with two balanced inputs and outputs for connecting devices such as mixers, synthesisers and instruments. Its Burr-Brown 24-bit digital converters provide a linear frequency response and a dynamic range up to 120dB(A). It is possible to power the device not only via the included 12V DC PSU.

but directly via the network cable as a PoE device.

Key specifications:

  • Dante network audio interface with 2 analogue inputs and outputs.
  • Reference level audio quality.
  • Supports -10dBV (consumer) and +4dBu (professional) audio levels.
  • Balanced analogue inputs (TRS, 6.3mm).
  • Maximum input level: +6dBV (-10dBV), +20dBu (+4dBu).
  • Input frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz ±0.1dB.
