Merging Technologies (part of Neumann) has released the PT64V3 I/O Expansion Card for the Hapi Mk III audio interface.
The PT64V3 card enables seamless integration between Merging Technologies’ and Neumann’s high-end audio solutions and Pro Tools HDX systems, widely used in professional music recording and postproduction.
The card connects Pro Tools HDX systems to Ravenna/AES67 or Dante networks via Hapi Mk III, unlocking access to Merging’s audio conversion technology and Neumann’s advanced monitoring tools, claiming ‘a significant step’ in making the complete Merging and Neumann ecosystem accessible to Pro Tools users.
Key Benefits to Pro Tools HDX users include access to Merging Technologies’ preamps, A/D, and D/A conversion; integration with Neumann MT 48 or Merging Technologies Anubis Monitoring Engine for stereo and immersive set-ups; personal monitoring solutions for performers using Music and Venue Missions for Anubis; and modular, scalable configurations offering flexibility and cost-efficiency.
