Crown has announced the ComTech D Series of compact power sharing amplifiers with DSP and Dante to address the eveolving demands of diverse installed audio.
Designed for versatility, flexibility and ease of installation, ComTech D Series amplifiers offer Dante inputs and outputs, built-in DSP, power sharing, Lo-Z/Hi-Z switching, and a simple-to-use web configuration interface. All models support 125W per channel, with power sharing of up to 250W in the 2-channel model, 500W in the 4-channel model, and (2x) 500W in the 8‑channel model. The 2channel- and 4-channel models are compact 1U-high, half-rack width devices with flexible mounting options, while the 8-channel model requires 1U of rack space.
The ComTech D Series currently comprises the125W/channel CTD-2125 Power Sharing Amplifier with DSP and Dante two-channel model, the four-channel, CTD-4125 Power Sharing Amplifier with DSP and Dante offering 125W/channel, and the eight-channel CTD-8125 Power Sharing Amplifier with DSP and Dante offering 125W/channel.
