RCF SpA has obtained a favourable final judgment from the courts of the People s Republic of China, stopping the unauthorised use of its ‘RCF’ trademark by Ningbo S&A Electronics Co, Ltd.
The Intermediate People s Court of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, upheld an earlier judgment finding that Ningbo S&A Electronics use of the ‘RCF’ and ‘rcf’ marks in online promotions infringed RCF s registered trademark rights.
The court ordered the company to cease all unauthorized use and compensate RCF for economic losses and legal expenses.
This judgment is important to RCF’s global brand protection programme and underlines the company s commitment to safeguarding its intellectual property, reputation, customers, and authorised sales network.
