Established in 2013, Arxiduc Audio is a global sound reinforcement company based in Yokohama with a subsidiary in Souteast Asia, Arxiduc Asia Co operating DiGiCo Systems recently becoming the first company in Japan to introduce the Quantum 852, DiGiCo’s largest and most advanced mixing console to date.
The first Quantum console purchase made by the company was a Quantum 338 in 2020. Since then, it has steadily expanded the scale and scope of its projects, adding a Quantum 225 to the inventory. With this most recent purchase, Arxiduc Audio has widened its range of possible applications.
When selecting equipment, Arxiduc Audio CEO, Hirohide Kobayashi considers the specific challenges of each customer’s application. This philosophy was built on the company’s experience of meeting the specific requirements of different vlients and venues.
‘The adoption of the DiGiCo Quantum range is a direct extension of this thinking,’ he says. ’By combining the highly reliable DiGiCo platform with scalability and intuitive operation alongside the expertise of our staff, we at Arxiduc Audio ensure consistently high-quality service.’
The Quantum range offers flexibility and stability, with the Quantum 852 having a large console surface and high channel count suited to complex productions. With onboard Mustard Processing and Spice Rack, as well as two DMI slots per engine and the option to upgrade to dual Optocore loops, there is scope for expansion – making the DiGiCo ecosystem a solid investment for Arxiduc Audio.
The company was also an early adopter of Klang IEM systems, with engineers actively integrating the immersive monitoring system into their workflow. By providing each performer with a fatigue reducing mix, engineers help to elevate the performers’ experience, leaving them with a greater capacity for performance.
Coinciding with the introduction of the Quantum 852, the company also adopted the Fourier transform.engine, and is now better prepared to respond to the diverse and sophisticated demands of the market.
‘The introduction of the Quantum 852 marks both a milestone and a new beginning for Arxiduc Audio,’ Kobayashi says. ‘By pursuing a synergy between cutting-edge technology and the human expertise required to maximise it, the company intends to deepen its relationships with engineers, production companies, and partner firms worldwide. As a leading DiGiCo user, Arxiduc Audio continues to strive for further service excellence and business expansion.’
