Hx Pro Inc professional audio rental company has taken delivery of the Philippines’ first DiGiCo Quantum 852 mixing console, bolstering its position as one of Southeast Asia’s premier DiGiCo rental partners. The system was delivered by Joint Venture Inc, and is now part of an expanding inventory for large-scale productions.
Hx Pro Inc is a well-established equipment provider based in Mandaluyong, specialising in high-end audio, lighting and video solutions, and the acquisition of DiGiCo’s flagship console marks a significant milestone for the Philippine live sound industry.
As one of the region’s largest DiGiCo rental partners, the team at Hx Pro Inc view the DiGiCo Quantum 852 as a strategic addition to its Quantum Series line-up as early signs that 2026 technical riders increasingly list the console. ‘We’ve been eyeing the Quantum 852 from the moment it was introduced,’ says Hx Pro Inc MD, Rex Maliuanag. ‘Due to strong global demand, it took some time before our allocation became available. For us, the decision to bring it in-house was a natural step.’
Alongside the Quantum 852, Hx Pro Inc also received the country’s first Fourier transform.engine with transform.suite installed. ‘The Fourier platform impressed us immediately,’ Maliuanag says. ‘Integration with DiGiCo consoles is seamless, and the ability to support industry standard VST plug-ins within that workflow gives our engineers greater flexibility and control.’
‘HX Pro has been a long-term partner for DiGiCo, while Rex in particular has been an amazing ambassador for us for many years,’ says Ian Staddon, VP of Sales for DiGiCo. ‘Hx Pro along with Joint Venture have not only developed the local rental market, but expanded DiGiCo into both the church and broadcast markets. His commitment to DiGiCo by investing in both Q338 and now the Q852 really puts HxPro on the map as a serious high-end system supplier in Southeast Asia’
