Generative soundscaping is an emerging category of adaptive audio that uses real-time environmental sensing and generative sound aims to ‘enhance wellbeing, productivity and inclusivity in buildings’. A strategic partnership between generative soundscaping specialist Moodsonic and networked audio solutions company Bluesound Professional is now looking to further its adoption of responsive, across the built environment.
Moodsonic’s platform generates non-looping, sensor-responsive soundscapes tailored to activity and context. Across large-scale deployments, Moodsonic claims to have delivered up to 40 per cent improvement in cognitive performance, with a ten per cent reduction in heart rate and substantial real estate savings.
Through this partnership, Moodsonic’s next-generation software will be underscored by Bluesound Professional’s flexible networked audio systems to enable easier deployment, streamlined installation, and cost points that make generative soundscaping achievable to organisations large and small.
