Shure IntelliMix Room has secured certification for Microsoft Teams when installed on the Crestron UC-C100-T Flex Video Conference System Integrator Kit – the first software-based digital signal processing (DSP) for A/V conferencing to achieve this status.

Microsoft Teams certification for Shure IntellimixUsers can now deploy end-to-end certified solutions for Teams systems without the need for a separate DSP device.

Shure’s collaboration with Crestron helped enable IntelliMix Room software to achieve this certification. Crestron has been a Microsoft partner for more than 15 years and A/V integrators rely on the UC-C100-T Crestron Flex Integrator Kit to bring Microsoft Teams Rooms into custom spaces, while the Crestron Flex series provides the components needed to build a custom video conferencing space, whether for a company-wide annual meeting in an auditorium, for sharing content in a boardroom, or for connecting stakeholders around the world.

‘With the integration of Shure’s IntelliMix Room software DSP, the entire conference experience is enhanced by providing an end-to-end Microsoft Teams Certified solution that significantly simplifies the deployment,’ says Crestron Director of Product Management, Andrew Ludke. ‘With Crestron Flex being a true technology platform, integrating Shure’s Microflex Advance Array Microphones and IntelliMix Room DSP with custom Crestron Flex solutions yields stunning audio quality in a truly customisable configuration.’

A key component of Shure Microflex Ecosystem solutions, IntelliMix Room algorithms are designed to optimise performance of Shure’s range of conferencing microphones. IntelliMix Room’s patent-pending technology helps IT professionals and business executives achieve better audio in meetings with acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), noise reduction, and automatic mixing technology, resulting in more consistent room audio and a simplified approach to managing multiple rooms.

With no custom programming needed, a variety of preset system configurations and an Optimise function within the free Designer application, Microflex Ecosystem solutions with IntelliMix Room software make deploying Teams-Certified spaces of all shapes, types, and sizes straightforward.

‘IntelliMix Room is designed with the end-user in mind to help improve connectivity, audio clarity, and quality with consistent results,’ says Shure Director of Technology Partnerships, Paul Gunia. ‘Shure is constantly taking a forward-thinking approach to simplifying audio, from microphones to DSP to speakers; and doing it without compromise.’

IntelliMix Room software is available under several licensing options.
