As of January 2020, QSC EMEA will exclusive handle distribution of the QSC live sound portfolio in Germany and in the UK and Ireland. Freddy Sicko, Director Live Sound Central Europe, will lead the organisation in these territories.
Sicko joined QSC EMEA at the beginning of 2019, bringing decades of pro audio industry experience in various leadership positions to the company. Most recently, he was General Manager of Shure MEA’s office in Dubai. Alongside Sicko, QSC EMEA has recruited Carsten Schiedeck to serve as Sales Manager Retail for Germany, and Emma O’Sullivan as Sales Manager Retail in the UK and Ireland, who will be responsible for MI retailers in those countries respectively.
Jens Stellmacher, Director Business Development, AV Rental, will be responsible for supporting key A/V rental accounts in Germany and the UK, as well as for increasing general brand awareness in this key segment. Marius Creutznacher, Manager Training & Business Development, will be responsible for developing and implementing target group-specific education and training programs.
‘Our goal is to work as closely as possible with our partners in Germany, the UK and Ireland to increase QSC’s market penetration,’ Sicko says. ‘We will do so by providing enhanced support of our channel partners while increasing our brand visibility at point of sale and interacting and engaging directly with end customers.’
The QSC Central Europe Live Sound distribution team is primarily located at the QSC EMEA headquarters in Sinsheim, Germany.
